My second home - Mein zweites Zuhause

English blog entry finished soon :)) Ein Monat in Kanada - Tag 29 Diese Woche war - wie jede - im Flug vergangen. Ich war, oder eher bin, zwar krank, trotzdem habe ich nur Montag die Schule ausgelassen, weil ich wieder dort hin wollte . Jedenfalls war dies einer meiner Hauptgedanken diese Woche: Ich lernte die Schule zu schätzen, sie sind um Welten offener und toleranter als die Schulen in Österreich. Man arbeitet mit Menschen mit einer Behinderung zusammen und man lernt viel mehr über Kulturen. Die Schüler respektieren mich und sind an mein Heimatland interessiert, machen hin und wieder Witze über Österreich und Australien. Das Schulsystem in Kanada ist definitiv sehr gut und vorbildlich! Ich liebe Sport hier, weil sie wirklich gar nicht über Können beurteilen, sondern über das Probieren oder Dabei sein. Wir spielen fast ausschließlich Ballspiele und laufen im Freien für eine halbe Stunde. Außerdem turne ich mit drei Menschen zusammen, die behindert sind. Sie sind jede Stunde

First Impressions - Erste Impressionen

Third week - Day 22 To be honest I am quite perplexed to be on the other side of the world. So I had to manage two flights, the connecting flight was in Toronto, and some of my best friends were with me as I was at the Vienna Airport. I didn't realize the parting, I mean, I had tears in my eyes, but I couldn't realize to be on my own for half a year. After that I went to the airplane. I sit without my parents in a plane...  normally my mother and father are with me and they take care of me, it sounds dumb, but this was a new experience, too. Arriving in Toronto, I ran through the whole airport. Time pressure, stress. I hate stress. Especially in an, well, important situation. The reason was that I had to go through Immigration, I had to pick up my suitcase and give it off again. Even more I got bad feelings, because I couldn't send a text message to anyone because I didn't have wireless and phone reception. My first Impressions from Vancouver already were in the pla
