Victoria

Today I am in Canada for four months now, and I can confirm that what every exchange student says: Time went too fast. I can't believe that I have to go back to Vienna in two months. My suitcase will be so full and heavy from all those memories! But I think that I will leave some clothes from Austria because I already bought many shirts and two hoodies.

For all people who love art: Our Drawing & Painting will have an art show in the beginning of June in the Tsawwassen Mills Mall. I am really excited. The theme will be "Creation" and I already have a drafting.
I bought a new, larger sketchbook so I can separate my drawings for school with my private ones.
Last Sunday we went to Victoria, the capital city of B.C, on Vancouver Island. It was an excursion for  all international students from the Delta School District. We went with the ferry around nine o'clock to Swartz Bay and after that we went on a bus to Victoria. The Island is amazing, you can see beautiful scenery and many forests.
Victoria itself is really similar to London. They even have double decker buses. We first went to a museum about history of the First Nations and after that we could decide what to do. My friends and I went to a vegetarian restaurant, because my host mom recommended us to go there. Also there was a beautiful shopping street who was specialized on art.



Heute bin ich genau vier Monate in Kanada und ich kann das bestätigen, was jeder Austauschschüler sagt: Die Zeit ist so schnell vergangen. Ich kann nicht glauben, dass ich in zwei Monaten wieder nach Wien gehe. Mein Koffer wird übrigens brechend voll und sehr schwer von Erinnerungen sein! Ich glaube aber, dass ich leider gezwungen bin, Kleidung aus Österreich hier zu lassen, da ich allein zwei Hoodies gekauft hab und viele T-Shirts.

Für alle Kunstbegeisterte: Unsere Drawing & Painting Class wird Anfang Juni eine Ausstellung in Tsawwassen Mills Mall geben.

 Ich bin verdammt aufgeregt. Das Thema lautet "Creation" und ich habe auch schon einen Entwurf. Ich werde es aber noch nicht veröffentlichen, sorry!

Noch dazu hab ich mir ein neues, größeres Sketchbook gekauft, damit ich die Arbeiten der Schule und meine Hobbyzeichnungen auseinanderhalte.

Parlament von Victoria

Letzten Sonntag waren wir in Victoria, der Hauptstadt in BC, auf Vancouver Island. Es war ein Ausflug für alle International Students innerhalb des Delta School District Programms. Wir sind mit einer Fähre um neun Uhr in 90 Minuten von Tsawwassen nach Schwartz Bay gefahren und dann mit einem Bus hinunter nach Victoria. Diese Insel ist der absolute Wahnsinn, man sieht so viel Landschaft mit Wald, ich hoffe ich komme nochmal hier her. Breathtakingly beautiful!!

Victoria an sich ist eine kleine Stadt und ähnelt London sehr. So sehr, dass sie auch rote Doppeldecker Busse haben. Wir waren zuerst in einem Museum über die Geschichte von BC und danach konnten wir frei entscheiden was wir als nächstes tun. Meine Freunde und ich sind zu einem vegetarischen Restaurant

Das Museum 

gegangen, weil meine Gastmutter uns diesen empfohlen hatte. Es gab auch eine schöne Shopping Straße, die sich eher auf Kunst spezialisiert.
